Method of French Braiding

To make French braid hair style is in fashion these days. It looks very nice and French braiding can be done in different styles. Most common French braiding styles are ordinary and backward braiding styles. It is very easy to make fine French braids. Let’s learn the method of French braid:

Wet your hair and comb back to make your hair ready for French braid.

Divide your hair into three equal parts as shown in the figure.

Hold the right part of selected hair in your right hand and the rest of two parts in your left hand.

To start French braiding, roll your left hand by crossing the left section of hair over the central section and pass them onto your right hand.

Then take the lower section in your left hand, and bring the right strand over the top.

Again start with left hand strand and while starting this time, add some more hair into the braid. In this way you will start to make French braid. Take these hair into the left hand and cross them over the top of other two sections. Again take a new portion of hair and add this portion to the already selected section and continue to braid. After taking the portion from left side then repeat the same act from right side till you grab all hair in the braid.

While making the French braid, you need to keep it tight and use comb to set hair for plain and fine braid. After grabbing all the hair in the braid, start the rest of strands roll like ordinary braid.

Hold end of your braid with some beautiful hair band.

You can also add different accessories to make your French braid more attractive and beautiful. These accessories can include beads, stylish hair pins and flowers etc.

Highlighting Your Hair at Home

Fashion and style is dream of every men and women. People do different things with their skin and hair. They cut their hair in different styles and dye hair in different colors to get new and elegant look. Some people go to some beauty salon and some people try these practices at home. I deal with many clients who are interested to do some beauty treatments at their homes. I use to share my tricks with them and here I want to share a special trick with all my valued readers. If you also want to become trendy and stylish and want to highlight your hair at home then follow the tips given below:
• Wash your hair frequently two days earlier when you want to highlight your hair.
• Check the expiry date of hair color and don’t use the left over of hair color for the next time.
• Make proper use of brushes for application of color and also use gloves to prevent color on your hands.
• Start coloring the hair from back side of head to front.
• Pick top layer of hair for highlighting.
• You can use foil paper or cap for hair streaking.
• Buy a streaking cap from nearby shopping store or beauty supply store. Put hair cap on your head after combing your hair. This cap has holes in it and you need to pull out strands of hair from these holes. Doing this you will keep the rest of the hair separate from the hair you want to dye. After picking strands of hair, apply the bleach or hair color on your hair to highlight them from rest of hair. This method is very useful for short length hair and also easy to use. When you want to highlight your hair at home then you should go with this method as you may find other method difficult to deal with.
• When you use foil paper for hair streaking then you need to follow some other method. Take individual strands of hair and insert the foil below each strand. Apply the dye on each streak. Fold the foil after applying the dye to keep the color away from rest of hair. This method gives best control over hair but it demands much care and is time consuming.
• If you are streaking your dark color then you should apply some lighter color or bleach the selected streaks but if you have colored all you hair in light color then you should highlight the selected streaks with some dark color.
